Dr. Fengwei An, Associate Professor, is working at the School of Microelectronics, Southern University of Science and Technology. He obtained his Ph.D. from Hiroshima University in Japan in 2013, served as an Associate Professor at Hiroshima University, and was also a chief engineer at Panasonic Semiconductor Co., Ltd. in Japan. He joined the Shenzhen Hong Kong Microelectronics Institute of Southern University of Science and Technology in March 2019. His main research areas include high-performance video image ICs and high-performance AI/digital signal processing chips. He has published about 80 academic papers in top journals and conferences in the field of integrated circuit design (including TCAS-I, TCAS-II, TCSVT, TVLSI, CICC, ESSCIRC, A-SSCC, etc.), 9 Chinese invention patents, and 3 Japanese patents.
